Your Free Case Review

Tell us what happened. We review whether the matter is suitable for an independent technical assessment, with no firm retainer at this initial stage.

01 / Tell us

The essential account.

The parties, key dates, records and the assistance you need.

02 / Free review

Referral suitability.

Initial facts, conflicts and jurisdiction, with no firm retainer.

03 / If suitable

Technical assessment.

An independent provider evaluates the technical position and reports to the firm.

You do not need a perfect file

Start with what you know. Identify the parties or platform, how contact began, the representations made and the main payments or account issue. Include your country and state, relevant dates, approximate amounts and the legal assistance you want. Mark uncertain details as unknown.

Mention existing complaints or proceedings and any known deadline. A website submission does not pause a deadline, and the form or chat should not be used as an urgent response channel.

What the free initial review does

The firm hears your account and considers the facts, potential conflicts and jurisdiction. The purpose is to assess whether the matter is suitable for a recommendation to an independent recovery company for technical analysis. No firm retainer is charged for that initial case review.

The review does not promise a technically recoverable position, acceptance of representation or a particular outcome. The firm may request clarification, recommend an appropriate technical assessment or explain that it cannot assist.

If a technical referral is appropriate

We explain the proposed specialist and the question it will assess. Its scope, terms and any charges are addressed before its work begins. The provider examines the transaction trail and technical feasibility, then sends its findings and report to the firm under the agreed authority to share information.

Independent technical work is a distinct stage. A report can inform the legal review without itself proving a right to funds or authorizing another party to restrict or release assets.

When the firm’s fee applies

Only after the technical findings return and the proposed legal route has been reviewed does the firm offer the relevant paid engagement. The written agreement discloses the standard professional fee, any applicable retainer terms and the authorization and jurisdictional submission work. The client reviews and agrees those terms before that engagement proceeds.

Fee amounts are communicated privately in the agreement. Read Free Case Review & Legal Engagement for the distinction between the initial review, specialist work and the later firm fee.

Share relevant information in stages

The form accepts up to five PDF, PNG, JPG or plain-text files, 5 MB each and 15 MB combined. Keep originals and share only relevant documents. For a larger or particularly sensitive collection, confirm the appropriate method with the firm.

Do not send passwords, wallet seed phrases, private keys or access codes. Review the Privacy Notice. Chat and form acknowledgements are receipt records, not confirmation that representation has begun.

After you submit

Keep your enquiry reference for correspondence. The intake team reviews enquiries and responds as soon as possible; the website does not promise a fixed response time. You can contact info@cryptoslawyers.com with your reference where available.

If the matter progresses, the firm explains its internal review, relevant registry and jurisdictional checks, the submissions proposed and any approvals required before dependent next steps are undertaken.

Response and approval times can vary

Coordination with banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, other platforms and relevant agencies can take time. The time needed for a response, agreement or approval varies according to the institution, its internal checks, the jurisdiction, the records requested and the circumstances of the matter.

For these reasons, we may be unable to give a reliable completion timeframe. Any estimate depends on the evidence, third-party responses, jurisdictional requirements and required approvals, and may change as the matter progresses. The firm follows up within its agreed scope and keeps the client informed of material developments, including when a completion date cannot yet be given. Third parties control their own reviews and decisions. A submission, acknowledgement or ongoing discussion does not mean that approval has been granted or that assets will be released by a particular date. Further steps remain subject to the required authority and approvals.
