- Additional source information
- We are aware of an entity named Caddington Limited contacting New Zealand residents and offering investment opportunities in a pre-IPO (Initial Public Offering) from a company named Revolut.
Revolut has confirmed that the offer is not legitimate.
Caddington Limited has also published online articles saying it is supporting the FMA's regulatory sandbox initiative in New Zealand. We are concerned that Caddington is using this claim to lend legitimacy to its fake IPO offers. Caddington has no relationship with the FMA or the regulatory sandbox.
We believe that Caddington Limited is also mis-using details of a company registered in Hong Kong.
Caddington Limited is not registered to provide financial services in New Zealand.
We recommend caution when dealing with Caddington Limited. Investors are urged to contact the company allegedly offering the IPO and confirm its legitimacy before dealing with any intermediaries or brokers such as Caddington Limited.
Read the source in its own terms
The recorded category is attributed to the authority above. An authorization-related notice is not by itself a court judgment of fraud. Read the precise warning or finding and the jurisdiction to which it applies.
Compare the exact identity
The recorded address is Caddingtonlimited.com. Compare the complete domain, path or profile against the service you actually used. A trading name alone may not establish the same entity. Retain the original communications, platform terms and payment records that identify your counterparty.
Dates and current status
Source registration, validation and modification dates are reproduced where available. They are distinct from this website’s actual release date and may differ from the original warning date. Historical information may change. Consult the linked authority for its current position.
Issues for legal review
The source notice is background to a legal assessment, not a decision on a reader’s individual claim. The relevant questions include the identity of the contracting or communicating party, the representations made, the payment history, the applicable terms and the forum in which a dispute could be addressed. The evidence must be assessed against the actual legal issue and any relevant deadline.
Report the matter to the firm
If your experience concerns the identity described in this notice, tell CRYPTOS LAWYERS what happened and provide the exact platform details, approximate dates and the parties involved. The firm will review whether it can assist, including conflict, jurisdiction and scope checks. A written engagement is required before representation begins.
Where a legal assessment requires transaction analysis, an independent technical investigator or recovery company may be instructed or referred privately on agreed terms. Counsel reviews the resulting report and assesses the appropriate lawful legal steps. A technical report or complaint filing does not itself authorize an asset restriction or establish an entitlement to payment.
