Asset tracing and legal remedies
Understand the distinct roles of technical analysis and legal authority.
Different questions require different work
Technical analysis may help describe transactions and relationships between addresses. Legal analysis asks what those findings establish, which party may be responsible and what evidence or procedure is required. Attribution, ownership and the present ability to recover assets remain separate questions.
Authority comes from an applicable process
A technical report does not itself authorize a freeze or seizure. Depending on the facts and jurisdiction, asset-related action may involve courts, authorities or a platform acting under its own applicable obligations and controls. A private firm cannot promise those decisions.

The FBI asset forfeiture overview describes government processes. It does not give a private firm those powers. Individual remedies require advice on the actual circumstances.
