A legal strategy
built around the facts.

From an initial assessment to appropriately authorized representation.

Begin with a free initial case review

There is no firm retainer for the initial review. If the matter is suitable, an independent recovery company assesses the technical position and sends its findings to the firm. The standard firm fee and any applicable retainer terms are disclosed privately in the later written engagement, after the report has returned and before the client authorizes the agreed legal work.

Internal review and the relevant jurisdictional requirements and approvals determine the next steps. Read the full process.

Matter assessment

We examine the circumstances, parties, jurisdiction and evidence to determine whether we can assist. The review identifies relevant legal questions without treating a technical finding or an account balance as conclusive proof.

Evidence review and coordination

We organize records and review independent technical reports where appropriate. Instructions to investigators, disclosure of information and the intended use of their work are considered within the engagement.

Representation and lawful redress

Depending on the matter, agreed work may include platform correspondence, complaints, submissions, civil proceedings or coordination with appropriately qualified counsel. Available preservation and asset-related remedies require their own legal basis and procedural steps.

Ongoing case communication

Private case updates describe the agreed work and next steps. They do not substitute for legal advice or independent notices from courts and authorities.

How independent technical providers fit into the legal work

Independent investigators and recovery companies may assist with agreed technical evidence work. A private referral should explain the purpose, provider’s scope, charges and information-sharing arrangements. Their report is reviewed by counsel alongside the other records. It does not automatically establish liability or authorize a freeze.

The lawyer then assesses the appropriate legal route within the engagement. Any further technical work is coordinated under an appropriate instruction and authority. Courts, agencies, platforms and other authorized parties retain their own decisions. Read the complete process and role-by-role explanation.

Our nationwide recovery partner network

We work with more than 13 vetted independent recovery companies nationwide, including partners across multiple states. We also work with vetted and verified private investigators. Where the matter requires specialist technical or investigative work, these relationships give the firm established contacts for an appropriate referral.

The proposed provider, assignment, costs, information-sharing authority and engagement arrangement should be explained before work is instructed. A referral is based on the issue in the matter; it is not an automatic requirement for every enquiry. Technical and investigative findings return to counsel for review of the legal routes supported by the evidence.

Recovery companies are independent technical providers. They do not act as a court or regulator, and their involvement does not guarantee recovery or authorize a freeze or disclosure. Any further legal step requires the appropriate basis, procedure and authority.

Response and approval times can vary

Coordination with banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, other platforms and relevant agencies can take time. The time needed for a response, agreement or approval varies according to the institution, its internal checks, the jurisdiction, the records requested and the circumstances of the matter.

For these reasons, we may be unable to give a reliable completion timeframe. Any estimate depends on the evidence, third-party responses, jurisdictional requirements and required approvals, and may change as the matter progresses. The firm follows up within its agreed scope and keeps the client informed of material developments, including when a completion date cannot yet be given. Third parties control their own reviews and decisions. A submission, acknowledgement or ongoing discussion does not mean that approval has been granted or that assets will be released by a particular date. Further steps remain subject to the required authority and approvals.
